Author Profile Xin Xiangyang is a Vice President of the Institute of Marxism Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), Deputy Director of the Research Center for the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, Executive Deputy Director of the Research Center for Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and Deputy Director of the World Socialism Research Center. He is a Grade-II Research Fellow and doctoral supervisor. Since 2012, he has received the State Council Special Government Allowance [1]. In 2015, he was selected for the Publicity and Culture System "Four Batches of Talents" [2] by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee (CPCCC). In 2016, he was selected for the "Ten Thousand Talents Program" as a leading talent by the Organization Department of the CPCCC and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. He serves as a reviewer for the National Social Science Fund of China and the National Publication Foundation. He is a specially invited researcher for the Chinese Association of Ideological and Political Work and the National Building Research Association. He has published 21 monographs, edited or co-authored over 50 books, and published more than 500 articles in newspapers and journals such as the People's Daily, Guangming Daily, Marxism Studies, and Studies on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. He has presided over and participated in more than 50 national and provincial-level research projects and has won 15 national and provincial-level awards.
