Editor-in-Chief Profile Jiang Hui, born in November 1969, is of Han ethnicity. He is a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), Director and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Institute of Contemporary China (at the sub-ministerial level), Director of the Institute of Marxism Studies, a Research Fellow, and a doctoral supervisor. He concurrently serves as the Executive Director of the CASS Research Center for Xi Jinping New Era Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, Director of the Research Center for the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, and Deputy Director of the World Socialism Research Center. He is a National Expert with Outstanding Contributions, a recipient of the State Council Special Government Allowance, a member of the National Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Talents Project [1], a "Cultural Master" and "Four Batches" Talent [2], and a leading talent in philosophy and social sciences under the national "Ten Thousand Talents Program." He has long been engaged in research on Marxist theory, scientific socialism and the international communist movement, and contemporary world Marxism and socialism. He has published academic works such as The Transformation of Communist Parties in Developed European Countries, Research on the Contemporary Western Working Class, New Developments in Contemporary World Socialism, and Socialist Trends of Thought in the Western World. His translated works primarily include A Hundred Years of European Socialism. He has published over 150 papers, including "Opportunities and Challenges Facing World Socialism," "The 21st Century is the Century of Socialist Revitalization," and "On the Class Question in Contemporary Capitalism." He holds significant influence in fields such as research on international communism and scientific socialism and the innovative development of 21st-century Marxism, making outstanding contributions to the research and interpretation of contemporary Chinese Marxism and 21st-century Marxism.
