2023 · The 15th National Forum for Deans of Marxist Studies Successfully Held

From December 9 to 10, 2023, the 15th National Forum of Deans of Marxism ^[1] was successfully held at Nankai University. This year’s forum was jointly organized by the Institute of Marxism Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), Nankai University, and the 21st Century Marxism Research Institute of Nankai University and the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. The theme was “Marxism and Chinese-path Modernization.” Wang Weiguang, Director of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Ethnic and Religious Affairs, Dean of the 21st Century Marxism Research Institute of Nankai University and the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Lifetime Professor at Nankai University, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote report. Li Yi, Vice President of the Central Party School (National Academy of Governance), also attended and delivered a keynote report. Xin Xiangyang, Party Committee Secretary and President of the Institute of Marxism Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Xu Zhong, Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Tianjin Municipal Party Committee, and Chen Yuulu, President of Nankai University, attended the opening ceremony and delivered remarks. The opening ceremony was chaired by Niu Wenli, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Nankai University.
